The character classes in Diablo III are not complete and just three are known thus far, each with only limited knowledge. There are to be both male and female of each of the classes neither of which will provide anything more than cosmetics. Of the seven classes that were present in Diablo 2, "only the Barbarian is returning"... at least this is what Blizzard said at the WWI 2008 in Paris, though more may appear in future expansions.
